Guidelines of regulations for Foreign students

Lectures & Classes

  • Students have to be present in the lecture hall or class room preferably 5 minutes before the session starts
  • Students are late for more than 5 min from starting of the session will not be permitted to attend
  • Students have to complete their task of learning & workbook on time without failure
  • students have to be present in white coats when instructed by the lecturer
  • Using mobiles + talking + disturbing others & littering  are strictly prohibited

Attendance of lectures/practical classes

      • Class attendance will be checked regularly
      • Students will not be allowed to be absent without valid reasons
      • Leave in advance: student with valid reason should request for leave in advance either from the dean’s office or the teacher
      • Students who are absent due to health related issues & without prior permission should present a certificate signed by a doctor
      • students who are absent for more than 5 lectures or classes will be detained from the major exam in the particular subject
      • Students who are absent for more than two months for lectures or classes will be suspended
      • Students who cannot continue studies for health related reasons or private reasons may apply to dean for the suspension

Exams

  • Students have to be present preferably 5 minutes before the exam starts
  • Should carry only student card & pens
  • Should not carry any sort of electronic devices & carrying such articles will be considered as cheating
  • Students should sit according to the instruction by the officials
  • Students should first check the exam papers to assure all pages are printed
  • Roll number & name should be written on all the pages in the appropriate spaces
  • Only ball point pens are allowed to be used for writing
  • Hand writing should be clear & understandable
  • Students exhibit any means of cheating will be suspended from the exam in the subject

Warnings & punishments

  • Students who defy discipline or damage public property or exhibit unacceptable behavior will be subject to disciplinary action by the university
  • According to the circumstances and gravity of the offense:
      • will be given a warning or a demerit recording
      • will be be placed on probation
      • will be expelled from the university.
